Our History… it all began in 2007

StreetVanz Campers was founded by Jason Ibbotson, a self-employed joiner and kitchen fitter with a passion for all things custom. His love for campervans began after a week away at the French MotoGP, camping in a friend’s VW T4. That trip sparked a genuine interest, which soon led to the purchase of Aston Martin’s ex-parts van — a stunning Dragon Green T4 with a GTI engine and gas conversion kit.

Back then, there wasn’t much in the way of custom parts or builds, so Jason decided to create his own. One van led to another, with countless camping trips in between — and eventually, the birth of StreetVanz Campers.

Eighteen years on, the passion has only grown stronger. The goal has always been the same: to move beyond the limits of off-the-shelf kits and build truly individual campers — vans that people will make the best memories of their lives in.
